62nd Anniversary of Korean War and Service 1950-2012

JINRO: TO HONOR AND SERVE, FOR YEARS TO COME.

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju once again joined forces with the Marine House Association to commemorate the 62nd Anniversary honoring USMC Korean War Veterans.



Raise the flags and ready to salute. In helping to honor those who serve and have served in theUS and Korean Marine Corps, Hite Beer and Jinro Soju had the privilege of being the beveragesponsors for the 62nd Anniversary Luncheon of the 1950 Inchon Landing Operations during theKorean War.

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju show their respects and support for the Marine House Association USA and the United States Marine Corps. The luncheon was held on September 22th, 2012 at the South Mesa Club Camp Pendleton, San Diego, CA.

War Veterans and specially invited guests enjoyed a beautiful cocktail reception, opening ceremony, and luncheon, sponsored by Hite Jinro.  Over 250 guests enjoyed chilled servings of Jinro 24 Soju, Hite Beer, Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish, Hite Stout Black Beer, as well as Jinro Mae Hwa Soo (Plum Wine) and Jinro Bok Bun Ja (Rasberry Wine).
The two-tiered event was full of joy and great food and company.  Special guests and performance included: Active duty marines and Korean folk dancers.  It was hosted by Mr. Yong Chu Park, the founder of the Marine House Association USA, who has been annually hosting luncheons at Camp Pendleton to honor and remember USMC Korean War Veterans for the “Operation Chromite” Inchon Landing during the Korean War since 2002. 

The Marine House Association USA is a non-profit philanthropic organization, based in Los Angeles that serves and assists active and former US Marines and their families.


Hite Beer and Jinro Soju were extremely honored to be a part of this event, serving those who fought and continue to serve for our country.

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju once again joined the “Endless Summer” Warehouse Party!

When a party is great, why does it have to end?  Well, in the case of My Ninja! Clothing and Blended Group, the party never stops.

Famous for their internationally recognized clothing across four continents with past collaborations with Warner Bros and MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, My Ninja! Clothing partnered with The Blended Group to host their 4th Annual “Endless Summer” Warehouse Party in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 30th, 2012. 

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju were proud to be sponsors for this amazing party.  Hosted at the Forge Studios in Los Angeles, over 800 specially invited enjoyed a night of Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish Beer, Hite Black Stout Beer, and Jinro Soju Cocktails alongside famous food truck foods! 

With a crowd filled with with guests that included tastemakers from the fashion, art, music, and dance communities who carry a strong interest and taste in the world of entertainment and lifestyle, Hite and Jinro were a huge success!

Successful in illustrating the brand’s lifestyle message through music, dance, and art culture, My Ninja! and Blended Group hosted a fun and entertainment filled event, bringing together a diversity of communities.

And ‘endless’ it was.

Hite Jinro: ‘Kollaborating’ with Raw Talents

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju are proud sponors for the Kollaboration 7 New York After Party.

Real talent, raw talent, amateur talent; Kollaboration finds them all.
That is exactly what Kollaboration is. Kollaboration is only one of the biggest events across the nation, creating an outlet for Asian Americans to showcase their talents in hopes of introducing them to mainstream America.

From coast to coast, Kollaboration searched for new talent this year, in New York at the Skirball Center for Performing Arts, NYU Campus, on September 21st, 2012.  Over 1,000 people attended the talent show, supporting Asian American talents in their dreams of becoming known.

This year was definitely special. Guest performance included: Gabe Bondoc, Mitchell Grey, and last year’s winner, Wanted Ashiqz. The Show was also hosted by comedian, Jen Kwok, and special guest DJ, DJ Miss Jade.

As proud sponsors, Hite Beer and Jinro Soju once again hosted the Kollaboration 7 New York After Party at the Pranna Restaurant and Lounge in New York. Over 650 guests (21 and over) enjoyed Hite Beer, Hite Stout Black Beer, and flavorful Jinro Soju cocktails!

KITA Golf Tournament

It’s that time of year again. Great weather, great company, and a great day for a golf tournament.  Hite Beer and Jinro Soju were glad to return to the golf course with the Korean Investors & Trade Association (KITA) of Southern California golf tournament.
The event was held at the Oak Quarry Golf Club in Riverside, CA on September 29.

For 6 consecutive years as the main beverage and gift donation sponsors, Hite and Jinro were excited to be back at the course, refreshing over 130 KITA officials, members, and guests. Hite and Jinro had a tasting booth at the 7th hole with refreshing, ice cold Hite Beer, Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish, and Jinro’s ‘Seok Su’ bottled waters.

At the end of the shot-gun golf tournament, KITA members and guests enjoyed a prepared luncheon. To keep things fun, Hite and Jinro held a raffle for guests to have a chance to win cases of Hite Beer, Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish, and Jinro Chamisul Fresh!

Another successful hole-in-one for Hite Jinro and KITA.  




KITA is a trade promotion organization founded in 1946, created to be a helping hand for foreign traders and investors and represents the interests of Korea’s International traders in America. As a social attempt to connect and bring a sense of union with new and present members and traders to the organization, KITA organizes a golf tournament and lunch reception twice a year.

Eat, Play, and Drink with Hite Jinro!


What better way is there to spend your weekend than at the 39th Los Angeles Korean Festival? Not only were there rows of Korean food vendors filling up the entire park with delicious smells of meat, roasted corn, and snacks, but there were also live performances and tons of activities all night long. The festival was held from October 4-7th at the Los Angeles Seoul International Park.

And if you’re over 21, the best part of the festival was the Beergarden. Hite Jinro had the honor of once again sponsoring the largest Korean American Community events in the nation!  Over 400,000 Korean, and Korean Americans attend, making it a successful festival every year.  

Visitors had a great opportunity to sample delicious drinks for a low price at the Hite Jinro booth in the Korean Festival Beergarden.  $1 Hite Beers (Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish, Hite Blackbeer Stout, and Hite Max) and $4 Jinro Soju, Maehwasoo (Plum wine) and Bokbunja (Rasberry Wine) were a huge hit. 

Nothing can beat $1 Beer and $4 Soju, except 1cent Beers and Soju. For the duration of the Korean Festival only, Hite Jinro offered 1cent drinks if you hash tag #sojugram on Twitter or Instagram.

The Los Angeles Festival was founded in 1973, creating an opportunity for young Korean-American second generations to learn about and appreciate their traditions and culture. It also allows them to experience and indulge in all the great foods, music, and overall culture of Korea. The Festival also serves as a way for all other ethnic groups to learn and experience the Korean culture as well. What better way to experience Korean culture than with Korean Beers and Soju!

Dodger Stadium La Gran Fiesta 2012

To celebrate and honor the LA Dodgers, Dodger Stadium alongside various Dodger sponsors held the 2012 Dodgers La Gran Fiesta, on September 29th. Prior to the game against the Colorado Rockies, Dodger La Gran Fiesta had over 30 sponsors at the Stadium parking lot for a fun family-friendly mini festival for all ages.

Fans with game tickets entered for free, enjoying the many sponsor booths with interactive games and giveaways, live car display, and live performances by Los Cuates de Sinaloa, OzoKidz, Kinky, and Boogaloo Assassins.   Fans also had the opportunity to meet special guest appearance, George Lopez, and get autographs from Fernando Valenzuela, Jaime Jarrin, and Pepe Yñiguez. The Dodgers also paid tribute to Dodger Coach, Manny Mota, on his 50th Anniversary in MLB.

Hite Beer had the amazing opportunity as Dodgers newest partners to join in on the festivities.  Passing out free samples of Hite Beer and Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish in the beer garden kept the crowd cool and fresh throughout the day.  To cool off some more, fans jumped into the shaded photo booth for some picture fun. Fans also received free Dodger-blue Hite Grocery bags, and Hite pen lanyards.

The 2012 season may be over, but we’ll hopefully be back for the 2013 Season. See you next year!

Kollaboration Star 2012 After Party

Last week was the most anticipated Asian American event of the year. Over 1,400 people crowded together for the 2012 Kollaboration Star Finale, last Friday, November 16th to watch the six finalists around the country compete for the Star title. The event was held at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, at 8:00 PM.

Kollaboration, one of the biggest Asian American events across the nation, provides a platform for Asian Americans to showcase their talents in hopes of introducing them to mainstream America. This year, one winner will be chosen from an online poll to represent their cities at the grand finale, airing live on Mnet.

Hite Beer and Jinro Soju, proud sponsors of Kollaboration for years, helped support the Kollaboration mission of “empowerment through entertainment” in many ways. As sponsors, they not only hosting a Facebook video contest, where 2 special winners will win 2 pairs of PSY concert tickets, but they also hosted the exclusive after party, following the finale show.

Many fans came thirsty, because Hite Jinro served their exclusive signature cocktails all night long at the Kollaboration After party, at the Sedthee Thai Eatery in Glendale. Guests enjoyed cocktails, Hite ‘D’ Dry Finish Premium beer, and Stout Dark beer. With over 400 guests 21 and over, Hite Jinro provided a live DJ to entertain your ears, free drinks to entertain you mouths, and a fun photobooth to entertain you and your friends!

CAPE Celebrity Poker Tournament

Hope you bet all your chips on red, because this event was fire hot. The 21st CAPE Anniversary Gala (The Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) celebrated their annual gala, but this year, they added a new twist. Aside from their traditional red carpet event and VIP cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony, the CAPE gala hosted a celebrity poker tournament all night, at the W Hollywood Hotel, Saturday, November 17th.


CAPE, a non-profit organization that advances diversity and cross-cultural awareness by educating and promoting Asian Pacific Islanders in the industry, had over 400 Asian American Professionals, high-profile community leaders, and celebrities in attendance to celebrate their 20 years of achievements with some of Hollywood’s former and present groundbreaking talents.

A Hite Jinro Sponsorship would not be normal without the presence of alcohol! Hite Jinro hosted the CAPE After Party at Drai’s Club in the W Hollywood Hotel. There were signature Jinro Cocktails, Hite Beer, entertainment, music, photobooth, and celebrities all in one club together. This was the after party you didn't want to miss out on.
